Chad Johnson has been formally charged with one count of misdemeanor domestic battery. Johnson is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday morning and to file a written plea of not guilty.
If convicted, Johnson could face up to one year in the Broward County Jail, according to a release obtained by NFL.com and NFL Network on Wednesday.
