Falcons’ safety Kemal Ishmael spoke to the Smyrna Spartans 5-under youth football team at Campbell Middle School Stadium on Tuesday, October 2, 2019.

“School first,” Ishmael said to the kids. “You’ll have more opportunities if you do your school work.”

Also, Ishmael gave all 19 players and autographed picture of him in action with the Atlanta Falcons and he provided each member with a pair of Nike Force Savage cleats.

“A big shout out to our team moms @Lyssa Mullin – Tristyn’s Mom and @TP Travels and @Coach Led for all you do for the boys!!” a parent said. “The cleats, the Falcons player Kemal Ishmael and the other countless things behind the scenes that make our team great!! You all are appreciated!!!”

Ishmael was drafted in the seventh round of the 2013 draft out of Central Florida. He is in his seventh year in the NFL.

The Smyrna Seahawks play in the North West Georgia Youth Football Youth Football League, which provides tackle football for ages 5 through 14.
