Serena Williams wins her fourth US Open title and 15th Grand Slam title overall. Serena came from behind to win the last four games, beating No. 1-ranked Victoria Azarenka 6-2, 2-6, 7-5. During the trophy presentation Serena said, ”I honestly can’t believe I won. I really was preparing my runner-up speech, because I thought, `Man, she’s playing so great… I’m really shocked.”
Serena is the first woman to win Wimbledon and the US Open in the same year since she herself did it in 2002.
